The Raleigh Hotel it ́s a world-renowned art deco hotel located in the stylish Art Deco Historic District at Miami Beach. It was designed by L. Murray Dixon, architect of other famous hotels like The Grossinger (The Ritz Plaza), The Atlantis, The Tides and The Victor. After its construction, the war administration took over and housed many troops. Initially The Raleigh was a kosher Hotel situated in what was called “North Beach” at the time. The ball room served as a synagogue after the war and the Oasis was originally called “The Aqua Cabana Club.”
